The IONIC Rescue Path has been developed to reach casualties on water, mud, ice and
unstable terrain or rescues where casualty access is problematic without means of a safe
platform to operate from. It can also be used for animal rescue scenarios.
All IONIC Rescue Paths are manufactured in 150mm Orca Drop Thread which when inflated provides excellent rigidity, while the Hypalon deck coating provides superior abrasion, durability and protection against UV degradation.
The paths inflate to 6psi providing a stable platform, concave in design, which reduces the friction and suction effect especially when being used in Mud.
The rescue path is available in various sizes from 2m to 10m in length. For increased lengths the Rescue Path comes with D-Ring attachment points at each end to enable paths to be joined together or for “Piggy Backing” purposes where the casualty is at a further distance from safety.
The Rescue Path is rated for inflation using a compressed air cylinder fitted with the IONIC Compact Inflation Kit which is recommended for rapid inflation and quick deployment.
